An English version after the first picture
Eigenlijk tegen beter weten in.

It's summer! When I look outside it doesn't look like that. The rain is pouring down and it's so gray and dark that I have to switch on the lamps. And it’s still morning.
Last weeks I have put my photography on the backburner. The wind blows almost every day hard here in the polder. A real challenge for my flower (macro)photography. Furthermore it is also often too cold for the time of the year. I hardly see butterflies. They don't like cold and stormy weather. I cannot blame them.
I intended to make a series of the blooming Poppies, but they will be overblown soon and the weather is still not improving. So if I want to photograph them, I have to do it now. I tried to take some pictures. Actually, I hoped against hope. The thin stems already move in a gentle breeze, and most of the days there was at least wind force 4 or 5 Bft.
In this post I first show other flowers. The more sheltered local Wildlife Garden offered an alternative to all these "bad weather days". This series has been photographed there on different days.
